This company is a professional film producing company with focus on short movies, commercial clips and informative short documentaries. The company's main business includes: film and television advert, enterprise image publicity production, digital animation effects creation and movie project operation. The company has a capable staff team of 20 people and its headquarter is located in Qingdao but has also offices in Beijing and Xian. Moreover, this company is about to open a movie bar in their own office where their own short movies will be shown and this movie bar will operate as a cinema.

Internship Description: 
Depending on the qualifications and interest, the intern will be involved in making short movies and the task will involve:
-    Finding ideas and inspiration for short-movies (e.g. about the Chinese culture using Western perspective)
-    Assist the director
-    Assist with cutting movies (using Apple movie making software)
-    The intern can also be involved in organizing activities and events for the movie bar
-    Responsible for the film and television advertisement planning,
The company has a young Chinese team and they are looking forward to get the intern to be involved in learning a little Chinese and about the Chinese culture. However, the Chinese staff can all communicate in English, which will be the communication language.

Requirements:
－ Students majoring in Media/movie or related fields
－ Interested in movie making
-    The intern should be creative, communicative and outgoing person.
-    Be able to work independently
-    Willing to learn from and integrate into a young Chinese team

Internship Description:

• Graphic design and layout - using software applications such as Photoshop and Freehand. Photography is also a big part of our work, so interns who have photography skills are also preferred.
• Editorial – obviously requires an interest in writing.
• Topics include: Lifestyle, Business, Travel, Chinese culture, Opinion pieces. In particular, interns with an interest in writing about business and international trade issues facing China in the 21st century.

• Event Management - regular events in the local music, arts and cultural scene are organised and regularly held by the company. The intern would be involved in organizing and helping to manage events on a regular basis.

Requirements:

• The intern should stay for at least three months.
• The intern should be able to conversant (preferably literate) in Chinese and fluent in English.
• Preferably with some (very basic) html experience and some design experience with Adobe In-Design or Photoshop.
• Photography is also a big part of our work, so interns who have photography skills are also preferred.
• Intern should bring their own laptop with them to the office.

Payment/Compensation:

• Well-researched, well-written pieces will be considered for publication in our monthly magazine.
• While the company or clients will maintain rights to design work, you are free to include it in your portfolio.
