 The Company provides design and management services for specialty elevators in China. . It has an office in Zhuhai and technical staff travel regularly to Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, to work on the project. There are several other large elevator projects lined up after the Zhangjiajie project is finished and depending on the timing interns may be involved in these as well.The Company is affiliated with the German elevator company, which does custom elevator projects all over the world. The owner and manager of this company also has a new side business. He is currently starting a company to organize mountain biking and motor biking trips for groups in the scenic Maoming area, near Zhuhai. He is looking to develop this business and market the trips to foreign travelers. The area is undeveloped and different approaches to develop renewable energy are in progress as part of this project.

Internship Description:  

1)    Engineering internship:
This is a great internship for someone who wants hands-on work experience with a major engineering project. The intern will provide technical support for the Zhangjiajie elevator project and other company activities. The intern’s responsibilities will depend on the company requirements and the intern’s interests.

2)    Sales and marketing internship:
This internship is a good opportunity for someone who wants to apply their business and marketing skills and have an impact in the early stages of a new business. The intern would be helping to develop and promote the mountain biking and motor biking trip business.

3)    Green energy internship:
This internship will explore green energy technologies using landfill gas and other forms of biomass. The focus will be on application of these technologies in a project in the Maoming area.

4)    Accountant internship 

This position is for an accountant in the financial department of HSGEC. The intern will be involved in the implementation of new policies within the department, and will deal with tax payments, financial transactions, financial reports, and other related responsibilities.

Payment/Compensation offered: Salary dependent on intern qualifications.

Engineering internship:
Applicants should have a technical background relevant to the company, such as mechanical, electrical or civil engineering major. They should be able to manage their responsibilities effectively and be able to work independently. Technical skills and previous work experience will also be considered.

Sales and marketing internship:
Business and marketing students, or those in a related field, are invited to apply for this internship. Applicants should be self-motivated and have a strong interest in business.

Green energy internship:
Applicants should have a background in science or engineering and an interest in green energy technologies using landfill gas and other forms of biomass.

Accountant internship:

An educational background in accounting or other relevant fields is a requirement for this position.
Applicants should be prepared to deal directly with local staff and clients as well as international
suppliers and financiers.
