Intern China offers the unique opportunity to directly combine an internship in China with mandarin Chinese study at one of our language schools. With this combination you will spend the first half of your day studying Chinese and work at your internship host company in the afternoon. In detail; from Monday to Friday you will attend classes in small groups at our language school from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm (4 hours), with a 10 minute break in-between each 50 minutes of study. After a 1 hour lunch break, you will then begin your afternoon's work at your internship host company. Depending on the company, you will typically finish work at either 5.30 pm or 6.00 pm.
This is our most popular programme and we think the combination of studying the language and learning about Chinese business culture is the most beneficial experience for someone looking to learn more about China and grow as a person. Some companies prefer to recruit full-day interns, but most of our partner companies encourage this combination, as Chinese skills are invaluable during your internship in China.
